Tamara Thongphadith

Tamara and her husband Jon live in Plainfield with their two young adult sons, Nathan and Ayden, and their sweet dog Lulu. They enjoy traveling, kayaking, discovering new restaurants and trying new foods, as well as cheering on their team favorites…the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, and their youngest son’s hockey team, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils.

Tamara has spent the past 20 years with Marriott International and is currently a member of the Global Sales Team, supporting the Corporate Airline Segment. In this role, she has contributed to a collaborative effort managing $800 million in annual revenue. Tamara earned her Bachelor’s degree from Lewis University, focusing on Criminal/Social Justice, Marketing, and Psychology. As a special needs mom and advocate, she’s navigated school systems and mental health services. Tamara enjoys working with the youth and was honored as “Volunteer of the Year” by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Will County in 2023. Tamara is passionate about building a more inclusive community where every family has the resources and support they need to thrive.
