If you are one of the many people who enjoy gardening but don’t have space in your yard, you may want to consider renting a garden plot in the township’s Community Garden. Garden plots are available in the spring of each year.
- The Community Garden Plots are located to the east of the Township Administration Building.
- 2 plots sizes are offered. Plots are approximately 15′ x 20′ or 15′ x 30′.
- There are six water spigots located throughout the garden for your use with your hand-held watering containers. Hoses are allowed, but please be courteous of other gardeners and their plots.
- Vertical and raised bed gardens are acceptable.
- Plants and seeds are the responsibility of each gardener.
- Returning gardeners have the option to keep the same plot from year to year and are given the first choice.
