Has served Plainfield Township as an employee of the Assessor’s Office since 1998 and began her term as Assessor in 2010.  She graduated from Lewis University with high honors and a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management and Psychology.   In 2011 she earned the state’s highest ranking for assessors, the Certified Illinois Assessing Official’s Masters Designation.

Throughout her time of service, Erin has been dedicated to creating a taxpayer-friendly Assessor’s Office.  By focusing on transparency, automation and education she has created accurate and equitable assessments.  Above all, she treats taxpayers fairly and with respect.

In 2024 Erin was named the Assessor of the Year by the Illinois Assessor’s Association recognizing her commitment to public service and excellence in the field of assessing.

It is the mission of the Plainfield Township Assessor’s Office to be a leader in the assessment community by continually improving and increasing efficiency, initiating and encouraging cooperation among government offices, supplying current and relevant training to employees and compassionately providing customer service to residents.

The Assessor’s Office is dedicated to being transparent, accountable and fiscally responsible. The Assessor’s Office strives daily to provide records, gather and maintain accurate information, develop equitable assessments and educate taxpayers on the assessment process.
