2026 Low-Income Senior Citizen Assessment Freeze Update
On December 12, 2025, the Governor signed Senate Bill 0642, increasing the maximum household income amount to $75,000 for the 2026 assessment year (payable in 2027). The application process begins in April of 2026 when the Will County Supervisor of Assessments mails the renewal applications. Learn more about exemptions
