Voter Registration


Voter Registration at Plainfield Township is available:

Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

*February 20, 2018 is the last day to register for the March 20, 2018 election at the Plainfield Township Admin Bldg.


Registration is open throughout the year except during the 27 days preceding an election. The next election is the General Primary Election 3/20/18.  Registration reopens the second day following an election.

*If you missed the registration deadline prior to an election, you may be eligible for Grace Period registration at the Will County Clerk's Office in Joliet.

Attention registrarsTuesday, September 26th, is National Voter Registration Day. The County Clerk’s Office would like to encourage all of our registrars to participate and spread the word. We challenge you to go out and register 5 people on this day, because as you know the earlier we can get people registered the better it is on Election Day.
