2026 Low-Income Senior Citizen Assessment Freeze Update
On December 12, 2025, the Governor signed Senate Bill 0642, increasing the maximum household income amount to $75,000 for the 2026 assessment year (payable in 2027).
The application process begins in Mid-April of 2026 when the Will County Supervisor of Assessments mails the renewal applications. Learn more about exemptions
